So my friend Jenny has a birthday week rather than just a birthday day. I think that this is a fabulous idea, especially when you have children. That means that even though you may not be able to go on a date on the day of your birthday you can celebrate it twice... or 3 times or all week. Ted is going out of town this weekend. He will be gone for my birthday. As a result we are having a sort of birthday week. More by accident than any sort of planning.
Justin and Ted went shopping today and Justin came home saying they got a present for me and that dad helped him get it. He was so excited we were worried he would spill the beans before I got my present. Thus- I got my present early. Justin picked out a lovely bracelet for me. He won't let me wear it. When I asked him if I could wear it and that we could share and take turns he replied, "No, how about you wear my necklace instead?"
We will be having crepes with friends on Sunday. I am excited about that. They are tasty crepes.
Oh and Jenny's birthday week coincides with my birthday week. Happy Birthday Week Jenny!

Yay for birthday weeks! I'm so doing that. Actually, my husband thinks every week of my life is a birthday week. No complaints here! Love the bracelet. It is very happy!
