Belated Happy New Year!

So I wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I know it is late, but I was pretty busy that week. We were preparing for another road trip. The American Astronomical Society (AAS) january meeting was in Austin, TX this year. We decided to make it a family trip and visit Ted's brother in Houston while we were in that part of the country. We had a great time. We all got to see a Saturn V rocket (those are the ones that sent people to the moon), see the Gulf of Mexico and go to the zoo. Well, Ted didn't go to the Zoo, but the rest of us did. Justin had a great time hanging out with his cousin Emmi. He talked about going to her house the whole way home. It was long ride....

Anyway, We have now added 2 states to our visited list. Arkansas and Texas. The kids were really great in the car. We feel pretty blessed to have kids that travel well.

Now a new semester has started and I am teaching a class that has about 200 students in it. Ted will be watching the kids. :) Ted is continuing to work on his thesis research. This year is starting out to be pretty much like last year. (except I am NOT pregnant this time around! Thankfully)

Well hope your year is starting out great like ours is.
