New technology and teeth

Anyone that knows me knows that I am a little behind in my magazine reading. OK- truthfully I am alot behind in my magazine reading. Unfortunately this is one of those things that is REALLY hard to get caught up on. Especially when you are as far behind as I am. It is pretty ridiculous actually. Sometimes I am tempted to throw away all the old magazines I haven't read and just start over with the current issue. I can't seem to do it though. The problem is- every time I try to throw them away I see something that looks interesting and I just can't do it. Anyway- I digress. The point is, I am really behind. Yesterday I found a Popular Science from January 2001. I knew I was behind, but I was PRETTY sure I wasn't that far behind! (don't worry- I'm not, this was a rogue issue...)

ok-ok I'll get to the point... Here is a quote from an HP digital camera ad..
"...to capture them requires a gentle eye, and new kids of tools. Baju has found just such a tool- digital photography. No film, no developing, he keeps only the pictures he wants and deletes the rest. He can even send them to everyone he knows everywhere in the world right now."
It was accompanied by a photo similar to this:
now- don't get me wrong- I love 35mm cameras and I like the way they look, but I just thought it was interesting to see how much the digital camera has changed the way it looks.

I also found an ad for memory sticks... an awesome 128MB!

This was only 7 yrs ago! Crazy. It doesn't seem like that long ago.

oh and Aeli's first tooth popped through! I think she is working on the second one. This is fascinating to me considering Justin didn't get any teeth until a week after his first birthday. :)

I'm also glad that Aeli didn't start with molars the way Justin did. These Incisors seems to pop through a lot faster.
