Hair Dilemma

So what, exactly, is the proper way to handle a haircut that you don't like? It isn't bad, but I just don't like it. I want to get it fixed. Do I go back to the same person and ask her to fix it? I don't really think I should have to pay for it if I do that(If I had gone to great clips or something where the haircuts are only like $10 maybe, but I didn't). I mean, if it was clothes that I didn't like or shoes, I would exchange them. Does it work the same way for haircuts? Do I go somewhere else? Do I go to the same salon and have someone else do it? What is the proper way to deal with this?

Anyone have any thoughts?

I would go back to the person, or at least the salon. They are responsible for customer satisfaction. I think if you've given it a week and it's still a no go, then they need to try to fix it. (or listen better). If they don't, well then you have a good excuse to start telling people not to go there.

My hairstylist has never disappointed, except once. I called her and she was horrified and wanted to do whatever she could to make it right. Call your person back and then follow Becca's very good advice.
