I took the kids down to Alabama to visit some friends and go and see the car show and hot air balloons. We had a great time and the balloons were pretty cool. The kids got to get into a basket and go up in the air a short distance. Here is the balloon getting blown up and taking off. They also did a "Glow" thing once it was dark.

I didn't remember that the kids got to go up in the balloon. Very cool!
